Given that there are tons and tons of forums and help sites for AdSense but none for Project Wonderful, I thought I'd make one.
It should be noted that this site has nothing whatsoever to do with Project Wonderful in an "Official" sense, but rather exists because... well, somebody had to make it, and Ryan's very busy working on Project Wonderful itself. If PW gets its own "Official" forum in the future, then we'll... well, I guess we'll be Double-Plus Unofficial.
Over the coming weeks, I'll be posting articles and tips, maybe interviewing a few folks, and in general bringing you lots of tasty information to help you make lots of money and have lots of fun. You can also add your own articles to the blog (hit "Read More" to find out how) - this is an open site!
I'll also be making the site a little prettier, too - this is just the default GeekLog theme, for now.
Feel free to ask questions and share your tips and techniques!
You have to be logged in to post, but if you don't want to make a new account and have to remember another username and password then you can use your LiveJournal or Blogger.com credentials to log in, thanks to the wonder of Remote Authentication. Your password is sent in an encrypted format, and none of the site staff will ever see it.
You can also submit blog entries for the front page, too! If you've written an article about a particular facet of Project Wonderful, then please submit it and we'll all "ooh" and "aah" over your handiwork.
There are no "rules" to the forums per se, except that you're expected to abide by the same behaviour you'd display on the "real" Project Wonderful website. That means no "How can I exploit this system?" questions or any other such naughty and wrong things!
In terms of conduct, there are no rules or even guidelines telling you to be nice because if you need a rule that says "Don't be a jerk" and then goes on to define what a jerk is, then you shouldn't be on the Internet in the first place.
This is a place where we can all share information that will hopefully help Project Wonderful to be even more open and useful than it already is. Remember that we're all in this together, and I hope we all make lots of money and have lots of fun!
